Project Scope
Stellar Energy provided design, construction, refrigeration and installation services for a field-erected utility plant for Bayer Corporation's refrigeration facility. The building contains five 1,500 kW/2,000 hp screw compressors and eight evaporative condensers, which cool process fluids through two remote 14,000 kWc/4,000 TR flooded chillers. Stellar Energy also provided design and installation for a custom control system, allowing Bayer technicians to remotely monitor the system from a PC to adjust and evaluate system settings.
